Hey guys, I know that updates have been a bit sporadic over the last month or so, but I’ve been busy! Anyways, today I wanted to introduce a new feature to the site that I think will be really fun and interesting–International Artist Spotlight!
Basically, we’ll be highlighting different, young international musicians and actors/actresses (from outside of Canada and the USA) every once in a while to introduce them to all of you who might not be familiar with them.
The first KGYT International Artist Spotlight artist is Korean RnB/Pop group SHINee! SHINee consists of 5 gorgeous and very talented guys–Onew, Taemin, Jonghyun, Key and Minho– ranging in age from 17 to 20. They debuted in 2008 with their single “Noona Neomo Yeppo” and since then, with their good looks, hot dance moves and charisma, have gone on to release hit after hit making them one of Korea’s biggest acts at the moment! Check out their latest video below for their single “Lucifer” off their freshly released, sophomore album of the same name!
I’ve been listening to these guys for a couple of months now and…I’m in love! They prove that music can break all racial, linguistic and ethnic walls–whether you understand Korean or not, you’ll find yourself groovin’ to their songs!

Disney and Target have teamed up together to design a tween fashion line called D-Signed and in the video above Demi Lovato talks about her own personal style and we get a look at a promotional video featuring her song “Me, Myself and Time”!
D-Signed is a fashion line which will contain clothing and accessories inspired by your favourite Disney Channel character’s including Alex Russo from Wizards of Waverely Place and Sonny Monroe from Sonny With a Chance!
The line will hit Target stores and Target.com exclusively just in time for Back-to-School on August 1st!

Disney starlet Selena Gomez, who recently returned to the US after spending a couple of months in Europe filming her upcoming movie Monte Carlo, recently sat down with MTV News and opened up about her upcoming sophomore album. Selena Gomez Is ‘Heartbroken’ About Ending ‘Wizards Of Waverly Place’
But Disney star tells MTV News she’s excited about upcoming projects, including a ‘Wizards’ movie, tour and ‘feel-good’ new album.
By Jocelyn Vena, with reporting by Perri NemiroffSelena Gomez has some bad news for fans of her popular TV series “Wizards of Waverly Place.” The Disney star reveals that when she heads back to set to the next season of the show — it will be her last. Gomez told MTV News she was sad to be saying goodbye. But when we caught up with her as she promoted another project, ”Ramona and Beezus,” due in theaters July 23, she also had plenty to be excited about.
“Unfortunately, I’m doing my last season of my show, which I’m really heartbroken about,” the actress told us. “That’s gonna be a terrible time for me. I’m gonna do a movie for my show, which I’ll be excited to end it with, and then a tour.”
But fans shouldn’t be too broken up about the show ending. The teen star has lots in the works. In addition to the planned “Wizards” movie, she recently wrapped on the movie “Monte Carlo,” whose cast includes Gossip Girl’s Leighton Meester. And Gomez is excited about releasing her next album, the follow-up to Kiss & Tell, which should be out later this year.
“The title so far of my album, I mean, I’m hoping it will stick is A Year Without Rain,” Gomez said. “It’s basically one of my favorite songs on the record,” she said. “It’s kind of got a more feel-good dance beat and feel. I love it. It’s different, kind of shows my growth of my music.” She added, “I think if anything the lyrics are powerful, in a way,”
Gomez even has a favorite tune already. “There’s the song called ‘Intuition’ that’s one of my favorites. The message is basically every decision that you regret or second-guess, [just] do it [anyway]. I love that message so much.”

Youngest Jonas brother Nick Jonas confirmed on Twitter yesterday that he’ll be returning to his roots and starring in the London West End production of Victor Hugo’s Les Miserables!
Back in 2003, when Nick was ten years old, he was in Les Miserables on Broadway playing the part of Gavroche and always had dreams to come back, now he has gained the bigger role of Marius! Here’s the official announcement from his Twitter:

The amazing Cameron Macintosh reached out to me last year about portraying the role of Marius in London at the West End. When I was ten years old I was in Les Miserables as Gavroche.
