Newly engaged 22 year old singer, actress and entrepreneur Hilary Duff is about to add something new to her long list of accomplishments! It was announced today by publishing company Simon & Schuster that Hilary has signed a multi-book deal with them and will be the author of some upcoming young adult novels!
The first one, called Elixir due out this October, will chronicle the life of young photojournalist Clea Raymond. Hilary is also planning on publishing a non-fiction book about children coping with divorce, inspired by the messy divorce her own parents went through a few years ago, scheduled to be released in 2012.

Justin Bieber is getting ready to release his highly anticipated album My World 2.0, and to celebrate the release he’ll be doing live performances on the popular shopping channel QVC!
Justin is scheduled to appear on the channel on March 9th at 6:30 PM ET and 9:30 PM ET, as well as on March 12th at 10 PM ET and will be performing tracks off the album. He will also be offering viewers the chance to buy a special version of the album that includes an exclusive, bonus DVD two weeks before the album officially hits stores (March 23rd)!

Wizards of Waverely Place beauty Selena Gomez has just been announced as one of the stars of the upcoming comedy movie Monte Carlo!
The movie, to be directed by Tom Bezucha, is based on Jules Bass’ novel “Headhunters” and is about three young woman, two college students and one recent high school graduate, who pose as wealthy woman in Monacco. It is set to begin shooting in May and Gossip Girl Leighton Meester is also currently in negotiations to play ine of the leading roles.
