So, I posted a few months ago about how I would be taking some time to reflect on the direction on want this site to go in or whether or not I want to run it anymore. Well now I can tell you guys that I’m planning on retiring KGYT and creating a BRAND NEW site that will feature not only North American celebrities but tons of international artists and celebrities. With both Charice and Far East Movement having hit songs within the past year and Ken Jeong rising to fame from his roles on The Hangover movies, I have a that feeling Asian pop music is going to blow up very soon. I’ve been into Korean pop music for over a year now and recently posted a video about it, so enjoy!

So, with that I just wanted to let you all know that KGYT will be closing shortly… it will be up for a little longer as I’ll be sad to see it go and it’s so hard for me to delete it. So sorry for the lack of updates… it’s been over a month! Hope everyone enjoyed the holidays and are having a good year so far! Just wanted to let you guys know I’m still alive and have been critically thinking about the future of KGYT. I’m currently in university and have just have not really felt motivated to update the site. I’m three years older than I was when I started KGYT and I feel like my interests are changing… I promise to keep you guys updated on what I decide to do.

18 year old Disney starlet Demi Lovato is currently receiving treatment at a rehabilitation center for emotional issues and while there has been many rumours regarding the events that led up to her leaving the Camp Rock tour, Alex Welch, known by her stage name “Shorty” who was a dancer in Camp Rock 2 and was also part of the tour, is speaking out about what happened. Alex Welch Is Still Waiting for Demi Lovato’s Apology

Alex Welch didn’t get a warning, and she hasn’t gotten an “I’m sorry” either.

The 21-year-old dancer was punched in the face by Demi Lovato five weeks ago, and is speaking out for the first time about what happened before and since the incident.

“To this day, I haven’t gotten an apology. I’ve heard nothing,” Welch tells PEOPLE. “That’s sad if you think that person is your friend.”

A source close to Lovato explains that “Demi hasn’t been able to call Alex because she is sequestered in treatment, but multiple efforts have been made to reach out to her.”

Hours before the fight, Welch says, Lovato, 18, was upset because “she had gotten in trouble” for her behavior the previous night. Tour managers on the Jonas Brothers world tour had questioned Lovato about her conduct, and Lovato suspected one of the dancers had tattled on her. Not long after, Welch recalls, Lovato “pulled the dancers in a room and threatened: ‘If I find out who told on me …’ ”

Still, Welch says, she wasn’t worried about it, especially since she hadn’t witnessed whatever happened the night before, and wasn’t the one who had told on Lovato. “I felt, honestly, I didn’t say anything and didn’t think twice about it.”

What happened next caught her totally off-guard.

“We were on the plane with the Jonases having this awesome time and I didn’t get a call or text from Demi or a ‘hey, you got a problem with me,’ nothing. And she walks up and punches me and literally walked away and got in her seat.”

“No one should walk up and do that and brush it over, it’s not right,” says Welch, explaining why she is speaking out now.

Lovato meanwhile left the tour immediately after the attack to seek treatment for “emotional and physical issues.”

“Demi feels awful about what happened,” says her spokesperson Jesse Derris. “Right now, she is 100 percent committed to her treatment.”

Welch, who suffered a black eye and bruised left cheek bone, doesn’t have any permanent damage. She has hired Beverly Hills attorney Donald Karpel, who told PEOPLE: “We have contacted the Lovato camp and we are waiting for a response. If we don’t hear back, we will pursue litigation.”

Confirms a spokesperson for Lovato: “We are in the process of engaging with Alex’s lawyer and hope to resolve this as quickly as possible.”

It seems like 2010 was the year for Canada as musicians Justin Bieber and Drake both had record-breaking success this year! The 2011 GRAMMY nominations were revealed last night and they weren’t left unnoticed as they were both nominated––Drake was nominated for a total of four awards including and Justin for a total of two!

The two Canadian stars, who are close pals, will even be going up against each other as they are both nominated for Best New Artist!

16 year old Justin Bieber is not only a singer and song-writer, but he’s branching out into different areas as well! He recently released his memoir book, Justin Bieber: First Step 2 Forever: My Story, and now he’s getting ready to launch his very own perfume!

Justin Bieber is getting in touch with his feminine side. The pop star, 16, is working on his own fragrance line —just for the ladies. “It’s for my female fans, and I want to create something that will have the girls go crazy,” Bieber tells PEOPLE exclusively of the currently unnamed scent, which launches in high-end department stores next summer. “Most male celebrities do male colognes for other males,” Bieber adds. “I think that me making a female fragrance is just a different idea and I think it’s going to be successful. I’m just really, really excited about it. It’s going to be really big.”

The Biebs, who also recently announced a unisex line of scented accessories, says Britney Spears‘ fragrances are currently his favorite perfumes on the market, but is less forthcoming when it comes to discussing his preference on colognes. “I can’t tell you what I wear,” he says with a laugh. “It’s got to be mysterious.” Bieber, who teamed on the scent with Give Back Brands, a lifestyle products company committed to donating its proceeds to charity, isn’t getting a helping hand from any of his celebrity pals. “This is my project and I want to be hands on,” he says.
